Do you own a home and want to learn more about how to take care of it yourself? Are you a beginner interested in pursuing a career in carpentry? Board co-chair Rachel Davis and Treasurer Emily Appenzeller will be teaching a one day workshop at The Apprenticeshop for women new to carpentry. In this workshop, participants will become familiar with the structure behind a wall, learn how to safely use a variety of power tools, how to do basic repair work to a damaged wall, and how to hang a shelf and picture.
